Geely's new energy vehicle achieves successful trial production in Indonesia
Geely Auto's international new energy strategy reached an important milestone. The first Geely International EX5 was successfully trial-produced at the Purwakarta factory in Indonesia, laying the foundation for mass production in Q3 2025, with an expected annual capacity of 20,000 units. In January this year, Geely announced its entry into the Indonesian market, partnering with PT Handal Indonesia Motor to promote localized production. Over the next three years, Geely plans to launch 5-7 diverse models in Indonesia, and the factory will become a strategic hub for ASEAN.
