Leveraging its outstanding performance over the past two years, the company expects its market share to further increase by 2026. The Marketing Director of Chery Indonesia Sales Company stated that the company's sales have nearly doubled for two consecutive years, and the current Indonesian automotive market environment remains positive, so the company will strive to achieve higher targets. According to data from the Indonesian Automotive Industry Association, Chery's wholesale sales in 2025 reached 19,391 units, with retail sales of 19,485 units; in 2024, wholesale sales were only 9,141 units and retail sales 8,626 units, showing significant growth. In 2025, Chery's wholesale market share was 2.4%, and retail share was 2.3%. With several new models set to launch in Indonesia, Chery Group's market share is expected to continue expanding in 2026. The company will vigorously introduce a new product lineup, striving to gain a more substantial market position in Indonesia. Chery has also set clear targets for hybrid models: by 2026, hybrid models should account for at least 40% of total sales. In terms of sales regions, the Greater Jakarta area will remain the core market, while major cities such as Medan, Bandung, and Surabaya will also become key supporting regions. To stimulate market demand, Chery plans to adopt an aggressive product strategy in 2026, launching 6 to 7 new models throughout the year. Hybrid models are the company's strategic focus, with clear objectives to further enhance the brand's competitiveness and overall sales scale in the Indonesian new energy vehicle market.
