Xiaopeng Motors to enter Indonesian market this year

Erajaya Active Lifestyle has been appointed as the brand holder's exclusive distributor for Chinese high-tech car company Xiaopeng Motors in Indonesia. The two parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), which marks an important step in the global expansion of Xiaopeng Motors.The CEO of Erajaya Active Lifestyle expressed his pleasure to work with Xiaopeng to advance the electric vehicle industry in Indonesia. Indonesia's electric vehicle market is growing rapidly, with the government targeting 2 million electric vehicles and 31,000 charging stations by 2030, and providing incentives in the form of tax breaks for vehicle purchases. Roc Motors' G6 and X9 will be the first to be launched in Indonesia. The G6 is an all-electric mid-sized coupe SUV with advantages such as 800-volt super-fast charging and a long range, while the X9 is a seven-seat, high-end electric MPV with features such as a unique rear-wheel steering system. The partnership is part of the global expansion of Xiaopeng Motors, which will enter more than 60 international markets, including Indonesia, by 2025, with a commitment to having half of its sales come from markets outside of China.
