7th China (Indonesia) Trade Fair opens in Jakarta

The 7th China (Indonesia) Trade Fair opened today in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia.
As the largest exhibition organized by China in Indonesia, China (Indonesia) Trade Fair has become an important window for Chinese enterprises to enter the Indonesian market. This year's fair attracted nearly 1,000 enterprises from 18 provinces and cities including Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong and Shandong, as well as Hong Kong SAR and Indonesia itself, with a total exhibition area of 40,000 square meters. The exhibition covered 9 professional exhibition areas, including Industrial Equipment & Parts, Household Appliances & Consumer Electronics, Building Materials & Home Decoration, Photovoltaic, Toys & Babies, Global Textile & Garment, International Home & Gifts, Plastic, Printing & Packaging Equipment, and Furniture, which encompassed more than 35 industry segments and comprehensively demonstrated the outstanding strength of Chinese products and brands.
One of the highlights of this exhibition is to empower the whole exhibition period through digital means, realizing accurate docking between demand and supply. Before the exhibition, we screen interested buyers through the database, and the platform precisely invites them to lock the business opportunities in advance; during the exhibition, we automatically remind buyers when they arrive, and guide them to the booth to ensure that we don't miss each and every customer; after the exhibition, we continue to negotiate with customers online and follow up on the orders.
With the in-depth promotion of the "Belt and Road" initiative, China-Indonesia cooperation is getting closer, and Indonesia, as the world's fourth most populous country and the largest economy in Southeast Asia, has shown great potential for foreign trade. Data show that the bilateral trade volume between China and Indonesia has reached 139.4 billion U.S. dollars in 2023, and China has been Indonesia's largest trading partner for 11 consecutive years.
This four-day exhibition is hosted by Wenzhou Municipal People's Government, organized by Wenzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Miolant International Exhibition, co-sponsored by Ningbo Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Taizhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Shaoxing Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Jiaxing Council for the Promotion of International Trade, with the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province and the Department of Commerce of Shanxi Province as the guiding units.
