Indonesia-Shandong Chamber of Commerce officially inaugurated

In order to further strengthen the solidarity and cooperation among Shandong entrepreneurs in Indonesia, and to deepen the integration and development of Indonesia, Southeast Asia and even the wider region, after a year and a half of careful preparation, under the deep concern and strong support of leaders at all levels of Shandong Provincial Government, as well as the active promotion of all sectors of the community, the "Indonesian Shandong Chamber of Commerce" was grandly inaugurated on June 2, 2012 in Jakarta. On June 2, 2012, the "Indonesian Shandong Chamber of Commerce" was grandly inaugurated in Jakarta. This important moment marks that Shandong entrepreneurs have their own "home" in Indonesia, and also symbolizes that economic and trade cooperation in Shandong Province has entered a new historical stage.

At the inauguration ceremony, Mr. Yu Jianlin, Vice Chairman and Secretary General of Shandong Chamber of Commerce for Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation (SCCFEIC), Mr. Chen Xin, Vice Chairman of Indonesian Chinese Chamber of Commerce (ICCCI), Dr. Gao Pengcai of Shandong Fellowship Association (JFSA), Dr. Wu Mingli of Indo-Chinese Business Council (ICCB), Mr. Hong Yongnian of Jiangxi Chamber of Commerce (JCI), Mr. Lin Wei of Jiangxi Chamber of Commerce (JCC), Mr. Wang Jiemin of Shandong Chamber of Commerce (SCCB), Mr. Lin Nengying of Shandong Chamber of Commerce (LCC), Mr. Li Feng, Chief Representative of CCPIT and other distinguished guests gathered to witness the historic moment. Mr. Li Feng, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT), and other heavyweight guests gathered together to witness this historic moment. In addition, the presidents of sister chambers of commerce from different provinces of Indonesia, as well as leaders and representatives from all walks of life and more than 200 people from Shandong in Indonesia attended the opening ceremony and sent their blessings for the establishment of the Chamber.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the first council members and the first president of the Chamber were announced, and the General Assembly elected Mr. Yue Jianbo as the first president of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce in Shandong. President Yue gave a detailed introduction of the Chamber's preparatory work and the Chamber's future focus and development direction, which gave all Chamber members a clearer understanding of the Chamber's future development, and also expressed the determination and perseverance of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce in Shandong. We are confident that under President Yue's leadership, all members of the Chamber will be united and work hand in hand for the development of the Chamber, and that the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce in Shandong will grow from strength to strength.

The inauguration of the Indonesia-Shandong Chamber of Commerce not only builds a platform for Shandong entrepreneurs in Indonesia to connect with projects, discover business opportunities and deepen cooperation between government and enterprises, but also provides more opportunities to promote more innovative and exemplary projects to settle in Indonesia and attract investment to their hometowns. We believe that in the days to come, the Chamber will be able to play a greater role in the economic and social development of its hometown and write a new chapter of greater splendor under the concerted efforts of the entrepreneurs who have combined their strengths and complemented each other's strengths.
