Indonesia's first electric vehicle super charging station (SPKLU) equipped with a liquid cooling system has recently been established in the Science Park area of Summarecon Serpong, Tangerang City. The facility was built by Zora, a high-end charging brand under Mebi Company. It is Indonesia's first charging station to apply liquid cooling technology and also the first project in the country to implement power distribution charging technology, marking a significant milestone in the upgrade of Indonesia's electric vehicle infrastructure.
The charging station adopts Huawei Digital Power's FusionCharge solution, with a maximum charging power of 400kW. The power distribution charging technology enables intelligent power allocation, significantly improving charging efficiency. The Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Mebi Indonesia stated that the Zora charging station has set a new standard for Indonesia's electric vehicle infrastructure. With Huawei's technical support, it has created an efficient and reliable charging facility, helping Indonesia in its long-term transition toward environmentally friendly renewable energy.
On the technical side, the liquid cooling system of the charging station makes the charging process more stable, the charging cables lighter and quieter in operation, and it can automatically adjust operating performance according to different weather conditions, maximizing user experience and equipment performance. The CEO of Huawei Indonesia Digital Power stated that Huawei, as a leading green technology enterprise, will fully support the construction of Indonesia's energy and future mobility infrastructure, creating intelligent, digital, and low-carbon energy solutions through multi-party collaboration, helping Indonesia achieve its net-zero emission target and the Golden Indonesia 2045 Vision.
The Indonesian State Electricity Company (PLN) also participated in the construction of the charging station. Its President Director said that the new generation of super charging stations makes charging faster, more accessible, and more comfortable. This innovative achievement of cross-industry collaboration signifies that Indonesia's electric vehicle infrastructure is moving toward a more mature and user-friendly direction. PLN will ensure the power grid system supports related construction, allowing the facility's benefits to be widely and sustainably realized. The Zora charging station is compatible with mainstream electric vehicle brands, with an operating voltage range covering 200V to 1000V. It also integrates solar and energy storage systems, which can reduce dependence on the public grid and further promote the use of clean energy.
