The Chinese Anhui tea beverage brand Tianlala officially entered the Indonesian market in October 2023, opening 6 stores initially. With high-quality products, local adaptation, and affordable pricing, the brand achieved rapid growth, and now has over 150 stores across Indonesia, making Indonesia its core overseas market. The head of Tianlala's overseas business revealed that the brand has expanded to 7 countries. For the Indonesian market, products have been locally adjusted, such as increasing sugar content and adding fresh milk, to suit local taste preferences. Indonesian consumers have a high opinion of Tianlala; loyal customers say it offers affordable prices and a wide selection of drinks, and products like jasmine milk tea and yogurt ice cream have great taste. An Indonesian franchisee operates two Tianlala stores and recently made a special trip to Tianlala's headquarters in Bengbu, Anhui, to study beverage production processes and operational strategies. This is his second visit to the headquarters. He also praised Bengbu's urban landscape and culture, saying the brand's birthplace is the city's pride. The franchisee stated that he highly values Tianlala's unique taste and eye-catching brand identity, and that its milk tea has a rich, creamy flavor. After this visit, he is more optimistic about the brand's prospects in Indonesia and plans to open several more stores after returning. Tianlala's headquarters invited more than ten Indonesian franchisees to visit, the largest group among overseas franchisees, confirmed by the head of the Indonesian subsidiary. When expanding overseas, Tianlala emphasizes co-development with the local economy. All stores in Indonesia employ local staff. A brand representative said that as the number of stores in Indonesia continues to increase in 2026, it will create more local job opportunities, further boosting local employment.
