Great Wall Motor actively develops Indonesian market

Great Wall Motor (GWM) plans to launch three new models in 2025, including the Ola electric car and new models of the Tank 300 and Haval.The Tank 500 and Tank 300 are the brand's best-selling models in Indonesia, accounting for 84% of total sales, with the Tank 500 contributing 50% and the Tank 300 contributing 34%.The Haval H6 and the Haval Jolion each accounted for 8% of total sales.Although Haval is not as popular as the Tank there is still a great deal of potential for growth, and in the first two months of 2025 it has already shown a positive trend.In March 2025, GWM has 6 official dealerships in Indonesia located in 5 cities. The company plans to expand the total number of dealerships to 30 in 14 cities in 2025, covering the major cities of Jakarta, Bandung, Surabaya, Medan and Pekanbaru.GWM is confident that it will be able to achieve its sales targets for the new model and boost Haval's growth in Indonesia through a more aggressive marketing strategy and expansion of its dealer network.
