Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Visits JIIPE Special Economic Zone

Chinese Ambassador to Indonesia Wang Lutong recently inspected the KEK JIIPE-Gresik Special Economic Zone in Indonesia.China is one of the largest investors in Indonesia with a total investment of 5.78 billion USD in the third quarter of 2024, which shows China's active participation and contribution to Indonesia's economic development. During his visit, the Ambassador inspected major companies in the region such as Freeport Indonesia, Hailiang New Materials Indonesia and Xinyi Glass Indonesia. Xinyi Glass introduced its latest production line with a melting capacity of 1,100 tons per day, which supplies high-quality glass for the construction, automotive and new energy sectors to meet the diversified needs of the Indonesian and Southeast Asian markets.
