Previously, the Minister of Investment revealed that precursors produced by Huayu Indonesia's nickel processing plant in North Maluku will be supplied to Tesla, and that Indonesia will ship precursor battery materials from the plant from January 1, 2025 onwards, having already shipped 60 - 70% of semi-finished raw materials, which demonstrates Indonesia's importance in the supply chain of the new energy industry.
