Kinko's invests 4.6 trillion rupiah in data centers

Sinar Mas and Korea Investment Real Asset Management (KIRAM) are collaborating to build a data center in Indonesia.The two sides established a joint venture with a project worth 400 billion won (4.6 trillion won).The two companies will provide 70 billion won (810 billion rupiah) from a joint venture called Kuningan Mas Gemilang, particularly South Korean investment real estate, by utilizing outside investors to obtain funds, a KED Global report said. The two companies will also raise funds worth 260 billion won (3 trillion dong) in the third quarter of 2025.
The data center will be built in Menteng Atas area, Setiabudi, Jakarta, with a total land area of 8,516 square meters. The building has 11 floors with a total building area of 44,195 square meters. The land for the construction of the 18-megawatt data center has already been purchased and the two companies are currently submitting approval documents to the relevant authorities. The same report states that the construction of the data center is scheduled to be completed by 2027. In addition to this, Korea Investment Corporation is also discussing with Cotai Group to build an additional data center in Indonesia, not only to build it but also to operate it. Previously, Gimkang Group also cooperated with LG CNS on data centers, working with Korean data center operators to manage data centers and provide cloud storage services for corporate clients.
