Chinese company sets record for world's largest single excavator order in Indonesia
Jhonlin Group, a company owned by Andi Syamsuddin Arsyad alias Haji Isam, has purchased thousands of excavators from Chinese heavy equipment manufacturer Sany Group.This purchase was made directly from Haji Isam on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 in Shanghai, China.The purchase of 2,000 units of heavy equipment enabled the Jhonlin Group to set a record for the world's largest excavator booking.The Jhonlin Group is a holding company engaged in the mining, petroleum, agribusiness, and transportation business segments.The SANY Group is a global company engaged in the development and manufacturing of quality, leading industrial construction and mining equipment, port machinery and oil drilling, and and renewable wind energy systems. Quoting from the SANY Group's official website, the order value for 2,000 units of the 21.5-ton SANY SY215C-9 excavator is estimated to reach Rp 4 trillion, with a price range of Rp 1.7-2.3 billion per unit.
