During the Chinese New Year, the supporting port project for the West Kalimantan Alumina Project in Indonesia, undertaken by China Construction Port Group, continued construction as normal. Workers remained at their posts, pushing forward the project with 'no break during Spring Festival,' demonstrating their commitment to the Belt and Road Initiative through practical action. As a key supporting project for Indonesia's aluminum industry upgrade, the project team seized the Spring Festival construction window, implementing zoned operations and shift work to ensure efficient coordination of processes. Technical personnel strictly controlled key aspects such as piling and component installation, strengthening quality and safety management; the logistics team coordinated the supply of steel, concrete, and other materials to ensure continuous construction. The project has completed the installation of bridge steel structures on February 12 and is currently advancing the construction of main and supporting facilities including cement mixing piles, cast-in-place piles, substations, and permanent bridges. Once completed, the port will meet the material transportation needs of the plant during construction and operation, improving logistics efficiency, supporting the development of the 'bauxite-alumina-energy-logistics' industrial chain, and providing supporting guarantees for Press Metal's subsequent two 2-million-ton alumina projects, driving local industry and economic development. China Construction Port Group has long been深耕 overseas markets, undertaking multiple port, energy supporting, and other marine projects in Indonesia and other countries, with mature technology and management experience. The no-break construction during Spring Festival has laid a solid foundation for the year's work. In the future, the company will continue to advance its internationalization strategy, deepen Belt and Road cooperation, and provide stronger support for China-Indonesia economic and trade ties and regional industrial development.
