China Energy Construction and Indonesia's PLN Strengthen Cooperation, Sign Memorandum of Understanding on Energy Projects

During their meeting in Jakarta, Song Hailiang of China Energy Construction (CEC) and Dalmawan of Indonesia's Pertamina (PLN) had a fruitful dialog. The two sides discussed strategies to strengthen green and low-carbon energy cooperation and promote the cleaner development of Indonesia's energy sector.
Song Hailiang expressed his gratitude for PLN's continuous support and introduced the "Four Transformations" and the "Three Internationalizations" strategy that China Energy Construction Company (CECC) is carrying out. He emphasized the deep cooperation between China and India in the energy industry and their common development goals, and proposed further cooperation in the areas of new energy and smart grids, as well as the joint development of demonstration projects.
Dalmawan recognized the expertise and experience of CECC and expressed PLN's positive stance in energy transformation. He is optimistic about the prospects of cooperation between the two sides in the new energy sector and is willing to work with CECC to build a new energy industrial park and accelerate the development of green energy projects.
The intention to work together was further solidified with the subsequent signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for an integrated energy project to support the industrial park. The talks were also attended by senior executives and representatives of the two companies.
