I. Introduction to the Chamber of Commerce:The Indonesian Shandong Chamber of Commerce was officially established on June 2, 2024, with its headquarters located in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. It is a national, non-profit social organization with independent legal personality, voluntarily formed by Shandong Province enterprises, Shandong entrepreneurs and overseas Chinese in Indonesia. The Chamber is committed to building bridges for economic and trade cooperation between the two places, providing members with services such as information exchange, business matchmaking, and legal counseling, promoting the investment and development of Shandong enterprises in Indonesia, and assisting Indonesian enterprises in exploring the Shandong market. The Chamber also actively participates in social welfare activities, contributes to the local community and contributes to the friendly relations between the two countries.

II. Purpose of the Chamber:

(a) To promote liaison and cooperation among Chinese chambers of commerce and industry, associations, Shandong organizations in Indonesia and enterprises of Chinese nationals in various parts of Indonesia, and to jointly safeguard and strive for the legitimate rights and interests of its members and their development in commerce, industry, engineering and other economic activities.

(ii) To discuss and formulate the opinions and suggestions of the Indonesian Chinese business community, Shandong institutions in Indonesia, and enterprises on issues of socio-economic development in the country, with a view to promoting understanding and cooperation with the Government or other institutions or organizations, and to working together for the development of the national economy and the strengthening of national solidarity.

(iii) Compiling, organizing and disseminating information on business and other economic activities.

(d) To liaise with other chambers of commerce or economic organizations, and to organize or participate in economic conferences, industrial and commercial study tours, industrial and commercial exhibitions and other activities related to the promotion of economic cooperation.

(e) Organize and implement human resources training programs or seminars to cultivate talents and improve the quality of employees for member organizations;

(vi) Assisting member organizations in mediating disputes with the consent of the parties concerned;

(vii) Organize the participation of members in relevant economic activities or conferences;

(viii) Liaise with the Chinese Embassy in Indonesia to reflect the demands of members;

(ix) To pursue other activities consistent with the purposes of the Association.
