Association Goals:It is an important bridge and link to deepen China-Indonesia humanistic exchanges and to contribute to the cooperation, exchange and development of China and Indonesia, as well as to the construction of talents in Indonesia.

Association Profile:

In November 2005, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU) established the Alumni Office. on September 16, 2013, BFSU received the approval from the Ministry of Civil Affairs (MOA) to establish the BFSU Alumni Association. on December 28, 2013, the inaugural meeting of the Alumni Association was held. on October 22, 2014, the Alumni Association was formally registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs (MOA) and became an independent legal person of the association. The secretariat of the Alumni Association is located in the Alumni Office and is co-located with the Alumni Office.
On April 15, 2024, the inaugural meeting of BFSU Indonesia Alumni Association was held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia. Li Feng, Ye Pingfan, and Liu Yue served as senior advisors, Yu Qianliang as acting president, Xie Yi, Peng Cheng, and Wu Zhihui as vice presidents, Yang Chuan as secretary-general, and Shen Jingxia and Jiang Haibune as deputy secretaries-general. on September 28, 2024, Xie Yi served as the president of Peking University Alumni Association in Indonesia after an internal vote.

The PKU Alumni Association in Indonesia will focus on the following three main areas:
Firstly, we will serve the alumni as the purpose, and continuously strengthen the construction of alumni chapters, so as to make the Beihang Alumni Association of Indonesia a platform to help alumni to succeed. Indonesia is home to a large number of Peking University alumni who are bold, idealistic, capable and productive. We hope that our Peking University alumni in Indonesia will rely closely on the platform of the Alumni Association, care for each other, support each other, and realize common development. Indonesia Alumni Association will also learn from the experience of other alumni associations, focus on the establishment of a sound working system and operation mechanism, adhere to the working principle of democratic consultation, innovate the form of alumni association and interaction, continuously improve the activity of alumni participation, cohesion of alumni emotion, help alumni to succeed, and create an Indonesian alumni community.

Secondly, we will take the responsibility of caring for our alma mater and serving our alma mater as our duty, constantly adding bricks and mortar to the construction of our alma mater and contributing Indonesia's power to a brighter future of Beihang University. Alumni is the name card of the alma mater, and the alma mater is the logo of the alumni. With the emotion and mission of caring for our alma mater and serving our alma mater, and in the spirit of co-creating, co-constructing, sharing and win-win, the Indonesian Alumni Association will become a platform for all-around exchanges and mutual assistance between the alumni of Beihang University and our alma mater by carrying out thematic activities, industry exchanges, expanding interests, and establishing a platform for information sharing. We sincerely hope that all alumni will continue to care about the cause of our alma mater, support its development, and make joint efforts to build a better Beihang University.

Thirdly, with the mission of serving the overall situation of China's foreign affairs and Indonesia's economic and social development, we will continue to gather the wisdom and talents of Indonesian alumni and contribute to the building of a China-Indonesia community of destiny. Beiwai Indonesia Alumni Association will actively promote the exchanges and cooperation between our alma mater and all walks of life in Indonesia, guide the alumni in Indonesia, especially the young alumni, to actively participate in the great cause of building a community of destiny between China and Indonesia, show the spirit of Beiwai people's courageousness to take up the responsibility and fight for the first place, and contribute their own wisdom and valuable strength, so as to make a new contribution to the overall situation of the motherland's diplomacy.
