Book Description

This book is a translation of Indonesia's Omnibus Law on Job Creation, which consists of two parts: legal provisions and interpretation of legal provisions. The Law on Job Creation contains 11 categories, namely business license simplification, optimization of investment conditions, labor improvement, promotion of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) development, promotion of business environment development, support for innovation and research, government administration, land expropriation, government projects, economic development zones, and scope of penalties. The Explanation of Laws section explains, analyzes, and gives examples of most of the specialized terms and phrases in the law for clarity in the specific context of today's Indonesia. The translation and interpretation of the Act, which involves the amendment, repeal or addition of 79 existing Indonesian laws, can provide legal support for China's "going out" investments.
