Wang Qin, Ph.D. in Economics, Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, Vice Dean of the School of International Relations/Nanyang Research Institute of Xiamen University (2001~2017), Director of the Center for Southeast Asian Studies of Xiamen University (2008~2018), Standing Director of the China Society of International Economic Relations and Director of the China Pacific Society, his main research areas are Southeast Asian economy, regional economic integration, and China-ASEAN relations. He is the editor-in-chief of the Blue Book of Southeast Asia: Report on the Development of Southeast Asian Regions, and the author of Studies on the International Competitiveness of ASEAN, New Pattern of China-ASEAN Economic Relations, and Studies on the Economic Development of Singapore, etc. He has published more than 260 papers in domestic and international academic journals, and more than 70 articles of current commentaries in domestic and international newspapers and magazines, such as China Daily, Singapore Lianhe Zaobao, and World Journal of the Philippines.
