Prabowo to crack down on illegal smuggling to preserve state revenues
According to President Prabowo, there are still many reported cases of violations of the law that are costing the country money, such as illegal mining, manipulation of financial reports, and tax arrears. He has seen a great deal of wealth being smuggled, and such acts are both illegal and unfair, with the perpetrators profiting but not fulfilling their obligations. Prabowo promised to take firm action against individuals involved in such cases. He said he had taken an oath to carry out his constitutional and legal mandate and it was his duty to uphold the law. To that end, he appealed to all sectors of society to abide by the law and refrain from committing violations that jeopardized the national treasury, conveying this request to the cadres of his party, especially those who had won the election of district chiefs, while requesting the support of all political parties.
