Average annual expenditure of Indonesian residents this year is 12.34 million rupiahs
Data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) show that the average real expenditure of the Indonesian population in 2024 will be 12.34 million rupiah per person per year, a figure that represents a considerable increase from 2023.Spending by the Indonesian people increased by 442,000 rupiah, or by 3.711 TP3T.In fact, the increase in 2024 is the highest compared to the average of recent years. This increase is higher than the average growth rate (real expenditure per capita) between 2020 and 2023, which was only 2.611 TP3T.The average Indonesian citizen's expenditure in 2023 is only 11.89 million rupiah per year, an achievement that is an improvement from the previous year, when the nation's people spent only 11.47 million rupiah per year in real terms. Then in 2021, the BPS recorded the average annual expenditure per inhabitant at 11.15 million rupiah. Meanwhile, in 2020, the real expenditure of the Indonesian people is only 11.01 million rupiah.
