Indonesia's Trade Fair Exports Reach Rp 476 Trillion
The Trade Minister said that the export achievement of Indonesian products at the Trade Expo Indonesia (TEI) has increased significantly. Since it was first launched 10 years ago, exports realized through TEI by 2023 have reached US$30.5 billion or Rp 476 trillion.In 2014 or 10 years ago, at the inaugural JIExpo Kemayoran TEI, the government generated a whopping US$1.42 billion in transactions.Ten years later, last year in 2023, Indonesia's export transactions totaled US$30.5 billion.The opening of the TEI was purposely brought forward, with the event usually taking place at the end of October, the reason for which it could be straightened up as Joko's term of office was coming to an end The Salutations. He said this achievement was due to the hard work of all stakeholders, especially the support of President Joko, and that TEI has made significant progress in contributing to the growth of Indonesia's developed economy. This year has been more innovative and specific in promoting the image of Indonesian products in a more targeted and comprehensive manner through three pavilions, one for food, beverages and agriculture, and the other for lifestyle and services. This year is also special as the Halal Pavilion is being showcased in collaboration with the Ministry of Religion, as it was reported from the Trade Commissioner that Thailand is now promoting this heavily.
